Launch of the communication campaign for World Amyloidosis Day

This week saw the launch of the communication campaign for World Amyloidosis Day 2022 on 26 October.

The Amyloidosis Alliance board members tell you more about it in a short video.

Very soon you will find testimonies from patients, doctors and amyloidosis experts.

These informative videos will inform you about the disease, its different forms and current treatments.

As part of this campaign, we conducted random interviews in the streets of different countries and realised that the word “amyloidosis” was not known. Some people thought it was a dessert, others thought it meant “friendless”.

We realise even more through these videos and the many people interviewed that we must continue our fight and raise awareness worldwide.
